Enthronement ceremony of 103th Gaden Tripa Jetsun Lobsang Tenzin

As His Eminence Rizong Setul Rinpoche successfully completes his 7-year as Gaden Tripa ( Apex throne holder of Gelugpa order), His Eminence Jetsun Lobsang Tenzin of Drepung Losel Ling Monastery succeeds him as 103th Gaden Tripa as per His Holiness the Dalai Lamas appointment letter received few weeks back in this regard.
On 5th November, 2016 a grand Enthronement Ceremony has been held at Gaden Monastery in the holy presence of Guest of Honour  Trisur Rinpoche Rizong Setul Rinpoche, Abbots and former abbots, Ven Yuthok Karma Gelek( Choerig Kalon, Minister for Religion and Culture, CTA), Mundgod Doeguling Settlement Chairman and representatives of various Govt and non-Govt associations and other Monastic officials. Simultaneously on the same day a Tenshuk offering( a long life request Puja ) was offered to both former and new Gaden Tri Rinpoche followed by grand welcome celebratory reception ceremony at Drepung Losel Ling Monastery the next day.

Drepung Losel Ling Monastery , as always, is very grateful and greatly appreciate his great contributions and wish him continued success as Gaden Tri Rinpoche and pray for his long healthy life.
